Overview

Also known as geotextiles, are synthetic geotextiles made from synthetic fibers that have been needled or woven. The finished geotextile cloth is cloth-like, generally having a width of 4 to 6 meters and a length of 50 to 100 meters. Geotextiles have many excellent properties, such as filtration, insulation, reinforced protection, high tensile strength, permeability, high temperature resistance, resistance to freezing, aging, and corrosion resistance.

Geotechnical work is mainly used in civil engineering projects. Its role is to control the construction of railroad repulping and mud, the enhancement of roadbeds, the laying of emergency roads, the construction of soft soils, the protection of water-saturated slopes, and the infiltration of drains in reservoir dams.
