Members of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Party Committee, including Zhang Yi, and Wang Zhengwei, the regional leader, welcomed Du Yuzhou, President of the China National Textile and Apparel Association, Ke Siting, Ambassador of the Embassy of Iceland in China, and Karel from the International Association of Cashmere Camel Manufacturers, during a meeting held in Yinchuan. These distinguished guests were among the key attendees at the 2nd China West (Yinchuan) Clothing & Accessories Festival and the 3rd China (Ningxia) International Cashmere Fair.

Zhang Yi warmly greeted all the participants from both within and outside the country who had come to attend the event. He emphasized that in recent years, the textile and apparel industry in Ningxia has grown into a significant pillar of the local economy, gaining recognition and influence both domestically and internationally. The region has designated the Costume Arts Festival and the Cashmere Fair as two of the "Six Major Festivals" organized by the Autonomous Region. Zhang Yi pledged to provide excellent reception services and create a comfortable and welcoming environment for all guests and exhibitors. He also extended an invitation for everyone to explore Ningxia and encouraged domestic and international textile companies to invest in the region, fostering stronger cooperation and mutual benefits.

Speaking at the event, Du Yuzhou praised the strong development momentum of Ningxia's textile industry. He noted that the local party committee and government have been actively promoting the growth of the sector and advancing cultural progress in the clothing industry. He believed that this festival would enhance cooperation and exchanges between Ningxia and its domestic and international partners, strengthen the textile supply chain both within and outside the region, and establish a platform for trade in textiles and garments. Additionally, it would serve as an important window for showcasing the progress and innovation of Ningxia's textile and garment industry on a global scale.
