Members of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Party Committee, including Zhang Yi, and Wang Zhengwei, the regional leader, welcomed Du Yuzhou, President of the China National Textile and Apparel Association, Ke Siting, Ambassador of the Embassy of Iceland in China, and Karel from the International Association of Cashmere Camel Manufacturers, during a meeting held in Yinchuan. These distinguished guests were among the key participants at the 2nd China West (Yinchuan) Clothing & Accessories Festival and the 3rd China (Ningxia) International Cashmere Fair, which have attracted significant attention both domestically and internationally.

Zhang Yi warmly welcomed all the guests who traveled to Ningxia for the event. He emphasized that in recent years, the textile and garment industry in Ningxia has grown rapidly and now plays a vital role in the region's economy. The industry has gained recognition and influence not only within China but also abroad. As part of the Autonomous Region’s efforts to promote cultural and economic development, the Costume Arts Festival and the Cashmere Fair have been recognized as two of the "six major festivals" held annually. Zhang Yi assured the guests that the local government will do everything possible to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all attendees, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for exhibitors and visitors alike. He also extended an invitation for everyone to explore Ningxia and encouraged domestic and international textile companies to invest in the region, fostering stronger cooperation and achieving mutual benefits.

Du Yuzhou expressed his appreciation for the progress being made in Ningxia’s textile sector. He noted that the local party committee and government have been actively supporting the growth of the industry and promoting the cultural development of fashion. According to Du, this year’s festival is expected to strengthen collaboration between Ningxia and its domestic and international partners, enhance the integration of the regional textile supply chain, and create a more effective platform for trade and business exchanges. He also highlighted the importance of these events in opening new opportunities for the advancement of the textile and garment industry in Ningxia, helping it gain greater visibility on the global stage.
