Spain is the world's second-largest exporter of wedding dresses after China. Although Spanish wedding dresses cannot compete with low-priced products in mainland China, Spanish products emphasize design and quality and are therefore still supported and loved by many consumers.

The Spanish wedding dress industry has over 700 companies, 14,000 employees, and an output value of 1.5 billion euros. In terms of product categories, the main production project is bridal wedding, accounting for 27% of the revenue, followed by banquet dresses.
