Raw materials soared at the Canton Fair

According to the information available at the Canton Fair, from the previous three-day deal, the accumulated turnover of the Textile and Garment Museum was US$4.56 billion, which was 2.6% lower than the 107th session and 7.9% higher than the 106th session.

The sales of textile yarn fabrics and raw materials totaled 300 million U.S. dollars, which was 13.5% lower than the 107th session, 5.1% higher than the 106th session, accounting for 13.1% of the total turnover, and home textiles and apparel accessories turnover was 890 million U.S. dollars, accounting for 39.3% of the total turnover. Compared with the 107th session, it increased by 1%, an increase of 26.4% from the 106th session; and clothing and accessories sold by 1 billion US dollars, accounting for 47.6% of the total turnover, 8.5% lower than the 107th session and 6.4% lower than the 106th session.

The final result is still in the statistics. At the current Canton Fair, export transactions encountered large increases in the prices of domestic raw materials, and increased at a rapid rate, making export companies in an extremely passive situation.
