The value of the old imperial investment needs to be tapped

Yesterday, it was learned that although the “Constitutional Book of the Qing dynasty Guangxu Year of Twenty-two Years” had captured more than 600,000 yuan, in Wuhan, the collection of almanac has not yet begun. The collectors of the almanac are only a few people.

At the office of collector Jiang Xiaoping, the reporter saw a total of more than 300 almanacs from the alchemy of the Qing Dynasty to the new century, covering the Qing dynasty, the **, the pseudo-Manchu, the Kuomintang ruling area, and the liberated areas. After the founding of New China, it was divided into At the beginning of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the Great Leap Forward, the “**”, reform and opening up, and the new century were several historical stages. The earliest one has a history of 180 years. Another almanac of three years ago contains the portrait of Li Yuanhong, which is quite precious.

The almanac, in ancient times, was referred to as the “through book” or the “constitutional book”. People used to be called “the emperor’s calendar.” It is a book that records the year, month, day, and season, and provides relevant data according to a certain calendar. It reflects the change of time in the natural world and the objective laws of meteorological changes, and has important guiding significance for agricultural production and daily life.

The almanac has a history of thousands of years in our country. According to historical records, in the 9th year of Tang Taihe (AD 835), there was an engraved almanac of wood. From the Tang Dynasty, all generations of dynasties exercise strict management of the calendar. The almanac was not allowed to be reprinted without the “Principle of the Royal Government”. It can be seen that the “calendar” is an ancient book of the “Royal” unified in the Chinese legal system.

According to reports, over the past 10 years, the value of almanac has increased rapidly. In the early years of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, more than ten dollars were made available on the old book stalls 10 years ago. Now that the goods are in good condition, they have been offered for several hundred dollars. The price of the founding calendar of New China is as high as several thousand dollars. In addition, the “wrong edition” almanacs for which the historical year number could not be found, such as “Constitutional Books of the Thirty-five Emperor Guangxu” and “Constitutional Texts of the Qing Dynasty Xuantong Four Years”, were not more than tens of yuan a decade ago. Both have broken through the thousand yuan mark.

In September last year, an auction pushed the price of almanac to a climax. The 23rd auction of the Guardian Four Seasons, “Constitution of the Great Qing dynasty 22 years” was sold at a price of RMB 672,000.

According to sources in the industry, while the old imperial calendar displayed historical culture, it also demonstrated its collection and research value. With the popularity of the collection market in recent years, the price of fine almanac will rise steadily, especially during the Qing Dynasty, the period of ** and the early period of the founding of the People's Republic of China, and the “**” period, the price of which will be further increased. Some years with major historical events, such as the "Korean War" in 1840 (20 years of Qing Daoguang), the "Geng Shi Incident" in 1900 (Guangxu 26 years), the "September 18 Incident" in 1931, The old imperial calendar at the time of the July 7th Incident in 1937, and the 1949 China New Year's almanac, had a chance not to miss.
